About the Film
A darkly comic British crime drama set in Liverpool, Semolina Pilchard follows an estranged daughter returning home to her dying gangster father, only to become entangled in a tense inheritance battle with her younger sister. Inspired in part by a lyric from The Beatles’ “I Am the Walrus” and featuring a post-screening Q&A with cast and key creatives, this special event offers audiences a unique cinematic experience
Special Local Connection
