This live class returns by popular demand! If you are a songwriter, musician, or producer interested in learning the fundamentals of songwriting and applying them to achieving success in the music business licensing–this class is custom-made for you. Learn these skills and more from seasoned professionals Samantha and A.J. and their combined years of music industry experience and success. This professional five-week workshop takes place in five weekly sessions each two hours long. Each session is devoted to learning both the craft of songwriting and the skills required to get your finished songs into the market for recording and licensing. Two very special guest speakers (to be announced) will join Cole and Gundell at the last session–to provide insightful marketing and promotion advice secrets while also helping address the ins and outs of licensing and recording. Write like a Pro
Songwriting fundamentals basics. Overview of song form, structure, lyric/melody/chords/beats/rhythm. Goal is to write at least one song from start to finish, learning the basics of songcraft along the way. Students have the opportunity in each class for professional review and feedback from Samantha and A.J. in order to share and polish their songs in progress. What you need to do to create professional, breakthrough songs!
Work like a Pro
Music Business 101: Take your hands-on songwriting skills to the next level of success in the digital age by applying your creativity to the basics of licensing, releasing, marketing, promotion, and artist development. Special Q & A in the last session with a group forum and critique by Samantha, A.J., Jimmy and Dave. What you need to do with the songs you create to get them out there!
