At the Ridgefield Playhouse, we believe the magic of live performance should be accessible to all. Our Community Engagement Program (CEP), supported by M&T Bank, is our commitment to making that belief a reality. Through the CEP, we connect our community with affordable, inclusive, and diverse arts in education programming, creating shared experiences that educate, entertain, and inspire.

Our goal is to break down barriers and open our doors to everyone. We achieve this through several key initiatives that enrich the lives of our neighbors and celebrate the vibrant diversity of those in Ridgefield, Fairfield, CT, and the surrounding communities.

Supported by M&T Bank, the Ridgefield Playhouse’s Community Engagement Program expands access to the arts through inclusive, affordable programming that strengthens community connections.

CEP Highlights Include:

• Through targeted programming designed with specific communities in mind, we create welcoming opportunities for people who may not traditionally have access to or be able to afford live performing arts.
• $100,000 in Annual Ticket Donations to local schools, social service organizations, and community groups.
• FREE Ridgefield Town Party – a family-friendly celebration with live music and performances from local arts organizations.

Together with M&T Bank, we are creating a more inclusive and accessible arts community.
