Emmy Award Winning Musician Kevin Briodys hailed as one of Connecticut’s most talented songwriters. His narrative songs are personal yet cinematic, and filled with vivid imagery. So who better to teach others how to penn a ballad? A resident of Connecticut, Briody served as the Official State Troubadour from 2000–2002 and has been selected by the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism as a Master Teaching Artist. He teaches songwriting workshops to aspiring songwriters of all ages. Students will learn everything from structuring ideas, melody, lyric and instrumentation and will leave with a recording of their song.
